The Backyard Ultra World Team Championships kick off tomorrow, Saturday 17th October.
The biggest edition of the event to date will see 74 nations and 1,110 athletes take to starting corrals in their home countries, all with one simple goal: to keep running until they can run no more.
Malta will be among the countries taking part, with its 15-strong team beginning the challenge from 2pm onwards on Saturday 17 October at Zonqor Point car park in Marsaskala.
Malta will be represented by a 15-strong team comprising Simon Callus, Gianni Ciappara, Pawlu Zammit, Maria Sultana, Mark Bezzina, Robert Formosa, Jose Luis Lara Natera, Clara Attard Formosa, Kevin Casaru, Joseph Camilleri, Karl Fiteni, Jeffrey Magro, Ray Grech, William Lewis and Miguel Mifsud.
