Maltese writer, director and producer Sharon Sibyl Gatt** is bringing her award-winning short film “Decode Me” home to Malta after a successful international festival run.
The film will screen at the **Mediterrane Film Festival** on **Friday 26th June at 6:00pm**, as part of the festival’s Local Short Films 2 programme.
“Decode Me” has received **12 official selections** across the United States, United Kingdom and Europe, along with 4 award nominations and 1 win, including the **Woman Filmmaker Award** at the Utah International Film Festival.
The psychological drama is inspired by Sharon’s lived experience as a late-diagnosed neurodivergent woman and follows an autistic programmer navigating identity, masking and self-acceptance.
The screening will also be followed by a Q&A with **Sharon Sibyl Gatt** and international co-producer and mentor Yorgo Glynatsis.
