England kicked off their 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign with a thrilling 4-2 win over Croatia in Group L.
Harry Kane opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 12th minute, before Croatia responded through Martin Baturina.
Kane restored England’s lead shortly before half-time, but Croatia hit back again through Petar Musa in added time to make it 2-2 at the break.
England then took control in the second half, with Jude Bellingham scoring just after the restart before Marcus Rashford sealed the win late on.
A strong start for England, while Croatia will now need to bounce back in their next group match.
