LESA Community Officers have been recognised with a Public Service Award for their service during and after Storm Harry.
The award was given in recognition of the Agency’s commitment to supporting the public during a period of challenging weather conditions. Community Officers were among those working on the front line, helping communities and contributing to public safety while facing difficult conditions outdoors.
In its message, LESA said the award belongs to its officers, as well as to all those who stood on the front line during and after the storm.
The Agency also highlighted the dedication, resilience and teamwork shown by those involved. Their efforts, LESA said, were the true reason behind this recognition.
Storms can place extra pressure on public services, especially when communities need support, guidance and safety measures. This recognition serves as a reminder of the important work carried out by front-line teams during difficult moments.
