Maltese singer Phylisienne Brincat has shared an update about her health after suffering a fall on stage during a recent performance by Gaffiero Productions.
The singer ended up in hospital after the incident, which happened while she was performing. In a post shared on social media, Phylisienne explained that although she had fallen, she chose to continue with the show, saying she strongly believes that “the show must go on.”
After the performance came to an end, she went to hospital for medical checks. At the time, she said she was waiting for X-rays after twisting her ankle and injuring her hand. She also shared that she was in a lot of pain, especially in her hand, which she could barely move.
Phylisienne asked those following her journey to keep her in their prayers while she waited for the results of the medical tests.
In a later video update, the singer revealed that she will now be undergoing surgery. She also thanked the public for the love, support and prayers she has received over the past few days.
The news has led to many messages of encouragement from people wishing her well and hoping to see her recover soon.
