Maltese trial rider Emma Said has completed her participation in the 2026 FIM European Trial Championship after competing in two rounds held in Italy on 27 and 28 June 2026.

Emma’s involvement in this year’s European Championship was limited to these two rounds, as she had recently completed her O-Level examinations. Since the championship was already underway during her exam period, the decision was taken to focus on the Italian rounds while allowing her to balance both education and sport.

The weekend proved to be a demanding one, with riders competing in extremely hot conditions during an Italian heatwave. Alongside the heat, Emma also faced highly technical sections, making the two days a strong test of concentration, skill, and endurance.

Emma finished in 8th place on both Saturday and Sunday, gaining valuable experience against some of Europe’s leading young trial riders.

Her team said the experience gained in Italy will be an important part of her continued development as she looks ahead to future international competitions. Emma continues to represent Malta with pride while building her experience at European level.

Emma and her team also thanked her minder, Damon Bonello, as well as her family, sponsors, and supporters in Malta and abroad. Their support continues to play an important role in making international competition possible.
