A LESA community officer has been praised for going beyond his usual duties after helping a couple who needed assistance in Qormi.
According to a post shared by LESA, CO 786 was on duty when he came across a couple who required help getting to a nearby medical facility. After recognising that one of the individuals was experiencing difficulty, the officer offered assistance and ensured that they arrived safely at their destination.
LESA said it later received a heartfelt message of appreciation for the officer’s actions.
The person who sent the message thanked the officer and said: “LESA can be proud of officers like this one. Once again, big thanks to the officer.”
The gesture was highlighted by LESA as an example of how serving the community is not only about enforcement, but also about being present when people need support.
