A young Maltese drummer has been recognised with a new national record after achieving an impressive result at just five years old.
The Malta Records visited a garage in Luqa, where drumming lessons are held for students of different ages. During the visit, they presented a new national record in the Maltese Islands to Jack Mizzi.
Jack has been recognised as the youngest drummer in Malta to achieve a distinction in an exam by the London College of Music Examinations, which forms part of the University of West London.
At the time of the achievement, Jack was only 5 years, 7 months and 10 days old.
The record highlights not only Jack’s talent and early dedication to music, but also the importance of patient teaching and encouragement from a young age.
The Malta Records also thanked Jack’s teacher, John Farrugia, for his dedication in teaching students and helping them reach high musical standards.
It is a proud moment for Jack, his family, his teacher, and Malta’s local music community.
