Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have donated $26 million to charities across the United States ahead of their reported wedding celebrations.
The donation was confirmed by Swift’s publicist and was shared across 20 local and national organisations, including charities linked to food support, children’s healthcare, education, music, and animal welfare.
Several of the organisations chosen are connected to places that have been meaningful in the couple’s lives, including New York, Kansas City, Nashville, and Rhode Island.
According to reports, some of the recipients include food banks such as City Harvest, Food Bank For NYC, and the Rhode Island Community Food Bank, as well as organisations supporting children, music education, and animal welfare.
CBS News reported that nine of the selected organisations are based in New York, where the couple are widely expected to hold wedding celebrations. However, the couple themselves have not publicly confirmed all wedding details.
People reported that several organisations were surprised by the scale of the donations, with some receiving personal communication about the support. The funds are expected to help provide meals, healthcare support, education access, music programmes, and services for animals in need.
