The Malta Police Force has honoured officers, civilian staff and community members during the Yearly Police Awards 2026, recognising exceptional contributions made throughout 2025.
Held as part of the Force’s 212th Anniversary celebrations, the annual ceremony celebrated individuals who demonstrated outstanding professionalism, leadership, bravery and commitment to public service.
Awards were presented across several categories, including Team Award, Health & Wellness Advocate, Innovative Problem Solving, Best Social Media Photo, Rising Star, Lifetime Achievement, Police-Community Partnership, Outstanding Leadership, Police Civilian of the Year, and Police Officer of the Year.
The ceremony also included Commissioner’s Certificates of Commendation, recognising acts of bravery and selflessness, while special recognition awards were presented to Benjamin Debono for his support of the Malta Police Force, Major Joseph Borg for his contribution to the new Malta Police Museum, and Heritage Malta for its collaboration on the museum’s first phase.
The Malta Police Force congratulated all award recipients and nominees, thanking them for their dedication and continued service to the Maltese community.
