Newly qualified Gunners from the Armed Forces of Malta have taken part in a blood donation initiative after successfully completing their recruitment.
The initiative was held at Luqa Barracks, where the National Blood Transfusion Service mobile blood donation unit was present.
According to the AFM, many of the new Gunners stepped forward to donate blood, showing their commitment to helping the community both in and out of uniform.
The post described blood donation as one of the simplest acts of kindness and encouraged eligible people to consider becoming blood donors.
Blood donation can play an important role in supporting patients who may need transfusions, including during medical treatment, surgery, or emergencies.
While the exact number of donors was not confirmed in the post, the initiative was presented as a positive gesture from the newly qualified Gunners following their recruitment journey.
A strong start to service and a kind reminder that helping others can take many forms.
