Pitbull Creates An Unforgettable Ta’ Qali Moment For Cheyenne
A handwritten sign held above the crowd caught Pitbull’s attention and created a deeply personal moment for Maltese fan Cheyenne Muscat during his concert at Ta’ Qali.
Gabriel Tonna, known online as The Briefcase Man, brought the sign to the show as a surprise for Cheyenne, whom he described as his best friend.
The message explained that Cheyenne is living with cancer and loves Pitbull.
Footage shared by Tonna shows the performer noticing and responding to the message from the stage. Cheyenne becomes visibly emotional as the people around her celebrate the moment.
She later described the concert as the best night of her life.
A Surprise Organised By Her Best Friend
Tonna thanked Pitbull for helping him surprise Cheyenne when he shared the footage online.
The creator originally became known for approaching people in public and giving them money, vouchers and other gifts while carrying a silver briefcase.
He publicly revealed himself as Gabriel Tonna in February 2026 and said he intended to continue using his platform to help people and create positive experiences.
This time, the gesture involved something that could not be placed inside a briefcase: getting the attention of one of Cheyenne’s favourite performers during a major concert.
Cheyenne Has Shared Her Cancer Journey Publicly
Cheyenne was diagnosed with thyroid cancer after doctors discovered a lump during a medical check-up.
She underwent surgery and radioactive iodine treatment, and later shared that the cancer had spread to her lungs. Her condition was described as stable in late 2025, although the cancer remained present.
Alongside her treatment, Cheyenne has organised fundraising initiatives for the Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation and L-Istrina.
She has explained that the assistance her family received motivated her to support other patients experiencing serious illnesses and treatment costs.
Pitbull Brings His Tour To Malta
The moment took place during Pitbull’s I’m Back Tour performance at Ta’ Qali National Park on Sunday, 2 August 2026.
Lil Jon joined the concert as its special guest, with the programme bringing together some of both performers’ most recognisable party tracks.
For Cheyenne and Gabriel, however, the evening became about more than the wider show.
