Team Noel completed a busy final week of July with six fighters competing at events in Malta and Italy.
Julian Attard secured a unanimous-decision victory at Evolution Fight Night in Rosolini, while Kieron Sultana won the main event in Malta.
Skyler Bezzina, Emma Xuereb, Denzel Abohassoun and Kareem Abohassoun also represented the club during a week of closely contested fights.
Julian Attard Wins In Rosolini
Team Noel was once again invited to compete at Evolution Fight Night in Rosolini, Italy.
The Maltese club has participated in the event since 2016 through its connection with Bruno Botindari.
Attard faced a tough opponent from Catania and earned the victory by unanimous decision.
His result provided Team Noel with a strong highlight from its latest international appearance.
Bezzina And Xuereb Face Experienced Opposition
Skyler Bezzina also competed in Italy against a fighter with considerably more experience.
Bezzina delivered a positive performance throughout the contest before being defeated on points.
Emma Xuereb faced another experienced opponent and also produced a strong display, with the judges awarding the fight to her opponent on points.
The two performances gave the fighters further valuable experience against international opposition.
Kieron Sultana Wins Malta Main Event
While three Team Noel fighters competed in Rosolini, another three represented the club at an event in Malta.
Kieron Sultana delivered an excellent performance to win the evening’s main event.
Denzel Abohassoun and Kareem Abohassoun also competed, with both narrowly losing their fights on points after closely contested performances.
A Full Team Effort
Team Noel praised all six fighters, including those who travelled to Italy to compete against experienced opponents.
The club also thanked the team members working behind the scenes, including its cornermen and professional cutman Dillon Mamo.
Coaches James Busuttil and Feras Abohassoun were also recognised for their preparation, guidance and support.
More International Opportunities Ahead
The club has already received several invitations to compete abroad during the coming months.
Following a week that included six fighters, two countries and two victories, Team Noel will now turn its attention to preparing for those next opportunities.
