Malta’s Jude Bonnici Peresso has finished 10th at the World Junior Championships, completing his first season competing on the international artistic swimming stage with a top-10 result.

Malta ASA praised the young athlete’s progress throughout the season, highlighting improvements in both his performances and results as he gained experience competing internationally.

A Season Of International Progress

Bonnici Peresso has represented Malta in artistic swimming during a busy 2026 season.

Earlier this year, official European Aquatics results recorded him finishing 10th in the Youth Free Men Solo final at the European Youth Artistic Swimming Championships, with a combined score of 221.3126.

He also competed alongside Angelika Mercieca in the mixed duet during the European event, adding further international competition experience to his season.

His latest 10th-place finish at the World Junior Championships now brings that international campaign to a close.

Malta ASA congratulated Bonnici Peresso and also recognised the work of his coaches and those who supported him throughout the season.

For the young Maltese artistic swimmer, a world top-10 finish provides an encouraging end to his first season on the international stage — and another step forward in his development.
