A Puttinu Cares apartment in the UK has been given a fresh start and is now ready to welcome a patient and their family travelling from Malta for treatment.
The newly refurbished accommodation is part of the support offered to families who need to spend time away from home while a loved one receives treatment abroad.
A home away from home
For a family facing treatment overseas, having somewhere comfortable to stay can make a difficult period that little bit easier.
Puttinu Cares described the apartment as more than simply a place to stay. The aim is to offer patients and their relatives dignity, comfort and peace of mind while they are in the UK.
The refurbishment has created a welcoming living space with the facilities a family may need during their stay.
A thank you to those who helped
Puttinu Cares thanked Anthony, Mario and Sarah for their commitment and dedication in helping complete the refurbishment.
The organisation also highlighted the role of donations in making this kind of support possible, describing the accommodation as a “home away from home” for those who need it.
The refurbished apartment is now ready for its next family, offering them a place of their own while they concentrate on what matters most during their time in the UK.
