Marsamxett Valletta Regatta Club is returning to Category A after several years away, marking an important milestone ahead of Malta’s National Victory Day Regatta on 8 September.

The Valletta club is preparing its squad for one of the traditional highlights of Malta’s sporting calendar, with its return to Category A representing a significant step in its development.

Back in Category A

Marsamxett Valletta Regatta Club has spent recent years working to develop and strengthen its rowing set-up, with the club now ready to compete once again in Category A.

The return gives its rowers the opportunity to test themselves at the higher level during the upcoming Victory Day Regatta.

Eyes on 8 September

The National Victory Day Regatta brings Malta’s traditional rowing clubs together for competition in the Grand Harbour as part of the country’s 8 September celebrations.

For Marsamxett Valletta, this year’s edition carries additional significance as the club begins a new chapter back in Category A.

The club’s rowers will now be looking to make the most of their return when they take to the water on Regatta Day.
