He started singing lessons at just four years old. Seven years later, Beppe Caruana is preparing to represent Malta on the Junior Eurovision stage.
The 11-year-old from Żabbar has been chosen as Malta’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026 representative after winning The Voice Kids Malta.
While many viewers have only recently discovered Beppe through the television competition, his experience on stage started several years before his latest victory.
From singing lessons to major stages
Beppe developed a passion for singing from a young age and began taking lessons when he was four.
He went on to compete and perform in a number of productions and music competitions. As a member of La Voix Harmonies, Beppe reached the final of Malta’s Got Talent and also took part in Italy’s well-known children’s music competition Zecchino d’Oro.
Music is not his only interest. Beppe also has a passion for acting and musical theatre, appearing in local productions of Matilda, Oliver!, Seussical Jr. and We Will Rock You.
The Voice Kids Malta leads to Junior Eurovision
His latest chapter came with The Voice Kids Malta, where Beppe went on to win the competition and secure the opportunity to represent Malta at Junior Eurovision 2026.
Preparations will now begin for Malta’s entry and Beppe’s appearance on the Junior Eurovision stage, with further details about his song and journey expected in the coming days.
A Junior Eurovision on home soil
Beppe will have the added experience of representing Malta on home soil, with the Junior Eurovision Song Contest returning to the country this year.
The 24th edition of the competition will take place on Saturday, 24 October at the MFCC in Ta’ Qali, which will be transformed into the Eurovision Festa Village for the occasion.
For Beppe, it marks the next step in a journey that began with singing lessons at four and has already taken him through competitions, musical theatre and television. Now, at 11, the Junior Eurovision stage awaits.
