Maltese rider Emma secured fourth place in the TR4 category during the fourth round of the Trial Master Beta Championship in San Pietro Mussolino, Italy, on 20 September.
Emma was the only female rider competing in her class, taking on challenging conditions that were markedly different from the terrain she normally trains on in Malta.
A demanding round in Italy
Mud, slippery rocks, steep climbs and technical uphill turns tested competitors throughout the round.
Despite the difficult conditions, Emma finished fourth, with only a small points difference separating her from the riders who took second and third place.
The international competition gave the Maltese rider another opportunity to gain experience on unfamiliar terrain as she continues developing in the sport.
Looking towards the 2027 season
Emma is now looking ahead to further training and the 2027 season, with plans to continue competing both in Malta and abroad.
Her latest result adds another international outing to her experience and highlights the efforts of Maltese athletes competing beyond the islands.
