Malta is getting ready to welcome the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026, as the island prepares for a spectacular celebration of music, colour and Maltese tradition.
The 24th Junior Eurovision will take place this Saturday, 24 October, at the Malta Fairs & Conventions Centre in Ta’ Qali. This year’s edition has been given a distinctly Maltese flavour under the theme “The Festa”, inspired by the colourful village celebrations that bring communities together across the islands.
With flags, lights, colourful façades, traditional balconies and the atmosphere of a Maltese festa woven into the production, Ta’ Qali is becoming a meeting point for 16 young performers from across Europe and beyond.
The event is being hosted by Malta’s own Junior Eurovision winners Gaia Cauchi and Destiny, alongside presenter Keane Cutajar.
