A young fundraiser has raised an impressive €4,538 for Puttinu Cares after selling freshly made lemonade during the Żejt iż-Żejtun event.
Rhysin Farrugia took on the initiative with the simple idea of selling lemonade made from fresh lemons, but his efforts resulted in a remarkable contribution towards the work of Puttinu Cares, a Maltese non-governmental organisation that supports children with cancer and their families.
Using 60 kilograms of lemons, Rhysin prepared and sold the refreshing drink, raising the substantial sum through his dedication, hard work and generosity.
