The Armed Forces of Malta (AFM) has shared that Second Lieutenant Aidan Dwight Mallia has successfully completed the International Maritime Officers Course (IMOC) at the United States Coast Guard Training Centre in Yorktown, Virginia, USA.
The course covers maritime operations, search and rescue (SAR), maritime law enforcement, marine safety, leadership and operational planning.
As part of the programme, Second Lieutenant Mallia also completed Search and Rescue School, gaining further knowledge and practical experience in search and rescue operations and maritime emergency response.
