Two officers from the Armed Forces of Malta (AFM) have successfully completed the challenging IRONMAN 70.3 Costa Navarino, earning recognition for their outstanding sporting achievement.
Surg Captain Dr Charles Farrugia and Lieutenant Jonathan Chetcuti took on the demanding triathlon, which comprises a 1.9-kilometre swim, a 90-kilometre cycle and a 21.1-kilometre run.
Their successful completion of the event stands as a testament to their discipline, determination and commitment, demonstrating how personal ambitions can be pursued alongside demanding professional responsibilities.
The Armed Forces of Malta congratulated both officers on their accomplishment, praising their dedication and recognising the positive example they set for others.
