Żebbuġ Local Council has removed a quantity of bulky waste that had been dumped at the bottom of Wied Qirda, as part of efforts to keep the area clean and protect the natural environment.
The council thanked its employees for their work, paying particular tribute to C&V Aquilina for providing crane assistance, which made the removal operation possible.
Urging residents to dispose of their waste responsibly, the council said: “We appeal to everyone to help keep public spaces clean. Bulky waste is collected free of charge by the council. There is no justification for polluting our valleys.
