Norwegian Air Changes Logo To ‘British Airways’ After England Victory

Norwegian Air has kept its promise after losing a friendly social media bet with British Airways during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Ahead of the World Cup quarter-final between England and Norway, the two airlines agreed that the carrier representing the losing nation would temporarily replace its social media logo with the winner’s.

Following England’s dramatic 2-1 victory over Norway, Norwegian Air updated its Instagram profile to display the British Airways logo and congratulated both England and the UK airline.

The airline also wished England the best of luck in their World Cup semi-final against Argentina, saying the friendly bet would “live forever in all our hearts” despite Norway’s exit from the tournament.

The light-hearted exchange quickly went viral, with football fans praising both airlines for embracing the spirit of the World Cup.
