Malta has now gone 100 days without rain, according to weather page It-Temp Madwarna, as the islands continue through a particularly dry and hot stretch of summer.
The weather page marked the milestone on 26 August, reporting that temperatures exceeded 30°C on 82 of those 100 days.
It also reported that temperatures reached 40°C or higher on five days during the period.
82 days above 30°C
The figures put the persistence of this summer’s heat into perspective. According to It-Temp Madwarna, more than four out of every five days during the 100-day dry spell recorded temperatures above 30°C.
Five of those days reached the 40°C mark or higher, adding another striking figure to Malta’s summer weather story.

With August drawing towards its end, Malta has reached a notable weather milestone: 100 consecutive days without rain and a summer dominated by temperatures above 30°C.
