Fourteen-year-old Maltese singer Leah Gauci has been crowned the winner of The Voice of the Sea after making it through to the grand final of the singing competition held aboard a cruise ship.
The young singer impressed during the competition, with one of the standout moments of her journey being a three-chair turn during her performance.
A young Maltese voice on the international stage
The Voice of the Sea is another international experience for Leah, who has previously represented Malta in competitions abroad.
Her latest achievement adds an important milestone to a musical journey she is continuing at La Voix Studio, where she is mentored by Gillian Attard.
Following her victory, Leah thanked Attard for helping her grow as a performer and giving her the confidence to stand in front of a large audience. She also thanked her parents for encouraging her to dream bigger and continue taking the next step in her musical journey.
Leah also acknowledged coaches Hanna Kohanchik, Giacomo and Beype for their support during the competition.
A memorable win at just 14
Winning The Voice of the Sea at 14 marks another step forward for the Maltese singer, following her previous experiences representing Malta internationally.
With the title now secured, Leah returns from the competition with another international achievement to her name and a new chapter in her development as a young Maltese performer.
