Maltese water polo player Jake Muscat has joined Italian Serie A1 side Roma Vis Nova for the 2026/27 season, continuing his run at the highest level of Italian club water polo.
The move will mark Muscat’s fourth consecutive season competing in Serie A1.
Another Season At The Top Level In Italy
San Ġiljan ASC announced the move, describing it as another important step in Muscat’s career abroad.
Muscat is coming off a strong campaign in Italy, having scored 46 goals during the regular season, according to San Ġiljan ASC.
His performances have seen him establish himself as an important attacking presence while continuing to represent Maltese water polo at one of Europe’s strongest domestic levels.
Muscat Looking Forward To New Challenge
Looking ahead to the new season, Muscat said he is excited to begin the new chapter with Roma Vis Nova and is eager to contribute to the team’s goals.
The move sees him continue his development in Serie A1 while starting a new chapter with the Rome-based club.
