Southwaves Swimming Club Wraps Up Week-Long Training Camp In Spain

Southwaves Swimming Club has completed an intensive week-long training camp in Calella, Spain, as its swimmers continue preparations for the season ahead.

The seven-day camp combined early starts, demanding swimming sessions and technical work, giving the club’s athletes an opportunity to focus on their development away from their usual training environment.

According to the club, swimmers spent the week working through challenging sessions designed to help them become stronger, faster and better prepared for the upcoming season.

The programme included technical work alongside significant training mileage in the pool, with each session forming part of the club’s wider preparations.

Southwaves Thanks Supporters

Following the conclusion of the camp, Southwaves thanked sponsors VisitMalta and Browns Pharma for their continued support and contribution towards making the training opportunity possible.

The club also recognised the work of its committee, highlighting the organisation that went into arranging and delivering the week in Spain.

With the Calella camp now complete, Southwaves Swimming Club says its swimmers are ready to turn their attention towards the season ahead.
