Team Noel Malta had a successful evening at the ‘Island Knockout’ event in Pembroke, with the fighters putting in several impressive performances against international opponents.
The highlight of the night came from Kieron Sultana, who captured the WKN International Championship with a sensational first-round knockout, securing a prestigious title for the Maltese team.
Julian Attard also delivered an outstanding performance, stopping his Italian opponent by knockout in the second round, while Dillon Mamo also impressed, securing a first-round knockout victory.
Victor Galea demonstrated excellent determination and technique, earning a well-deserved points victory following four competitive rounds.
However, the evening also brought disappointment for some members of the team. Marie Deutscher lost her WKN International title following a points defeat, while Brent Spiteri lost on points against his Italian opponent.
Jake Gomez Blanco also suffered a points defeat in his boxing contest.
